Bridging the gap between the past and the present

HISTORIC REHABILITATION

We work with historic home owners who want to maintain their homes' character and architectural integrity, while adapting it for contemporary use. Our focus on historic rehabilitation ensures that significant architectural details are preserved or restored in the highest standard in conjunction with changes made for future use. We employ a number of specialists, contractors, and subcontractors well versed in this field to journey through and bring the project to completion.

Embark on an  Exploratory Journey

OUR PROCESS

Our systematic approach has shown that familiarity with our meticulous protocols instills a profound sense of ease and confidence within our cherished clients, sustaining them throughout the project's evolution.

1

INTRODUCTION

The project begins with a virtual Meet & Greet session, where we establish rapport and gather initial insights into your vision. Following this, an Initial Visit is scheduled with Alessandra and her team to explore the project site and understand its unique requirements.

4

PROCUREMENT

As the project progresses, we enter the procurement phase, where orders are placed for materials and furnishings, and delivery lead times are carefully assessed. Simultaneously, the procurement period continues throughout construction to ensure all necessary items are readily available.

2

RESEARCH

After the initial visit, we delve into detailed discussions to prepare the Scope of Work, outlining the project's objectives and deliverables. Once the SOW is presented and approved, contracts are signed and the the design payment is received, marking the official commencement of the project. Client Interviews are conducted to gather feedback and insights to inform the design process effectively.

5

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Execution of construction and renovation work begins, alongside the ongoing procurement process, ensuring that all elements of the project are seamlessly integrated. During this period and throughout the process, our team provides weekly updates to our clients to keep them up to date with any progress or changes to the project.

3

DEVELOPMENT

This leads us into Trade Day, where we coordinate with tradespeople. From here we initiate the execution of construction documents and begin preparations for the Presentation of Design. This sets the stage for smooth integration of design and construction, readying for the forthcoming Design Presentation, revisions and final approval.

6

INSTALLATION

As we approach project completion, furniture installation takes place, followed by accessory completion to add the finishing touches to the space. Finally, deficiency resolution ensures that all aspects of the project meet our standards before officially closing out the project, leaving you with a transformed home that will make an impact for years to come.
